Jewellery Rescue Metal Detector Hire

Paul  was called to a Jewellery Rescue  metal detector hire job in busy  Melbourne  by Allan who lost his gold wedding band gardening.  Mulching, planting a few plants etc during these activities he never notice it had  slipped of till that after noon. The  only place it could be was in the back  garden.

Allan  borrowed his neighbours el cheapo detector to his credit and tried to find it himself. 

Paul find the Treasure again.

  It wasn’t to long before Allan had to give up with the amount of false readings  indicated by the detector.  Allan new he needed a better machine and called  Jewellery Rescue to hire machine and experienced detectorist as he knew it was the best way to  get his ring back,  smart man.  Paul arrived at  Allan’s home and yard and started detecting  where Allan had mulched and planted plants  all the places Allan started  checking.  2 hours later Paul’s experience kicked in and started  searching  the lawn  near where Alan had being working and with in minutes had found and returned  Allan’s wedding ring to him much to Allans relief.   He was more stressed than he was letting on he later admitted to us.  Dont  worry Allan we  know you where feeling the pinch just  glad we could  help.

A call came in from one of the good guys in Melbourne’s Melton area.  Allan had a need for a metal detector hire service even after he used his neighbours metal detector to try over two days, and find his own lost wedding ring after gardening, pulling weeds and digging holes for plants, good effort mate. He pulled out a lot of iron junk but no gold ring thats what some detectors are only really good at iron.

A very good detectorist Paul  meet up with Allen with the right sort of gold finding gear that lives that side of Melbourne closest to the search site.  Allan said later he couldnt sleep properly while the ring was missing.  Paul searched in places Allan had allready search and some new places  he had not, we cover all possibilities we can some time where  no ring is expected to be..  Well If you know Paul I would have him like other Jewellery Rescue detectorists search for my lost gear any time as he is building experiance fast.  Needless to say Paul was successful in a couple of hours and found Allans Gold wedding ring where Allan had all but given up hope, Allan was one very happy man.  Well done Paul another success story to your credit where Allan needed the extra experiance and  gold seeking gear plus possible the experiance to use it effectivly.  Regards Tony JR

Mack was relaxing happily gardening, turning over his garden bed with fresh compost when he realised his gold wedding  ring must have fallen of  while he was  working the garden.  Thank fully he found our Australia wide Jewellery Rescue network and  called for our nearest metal detectorist to assist him locate his  ring.

Well in his area of Melbourne west of the CBD we have an accopmplished detectorist among many quality detectorist in Melbourne named  Paul.  Following is  Paul’s account of events introducing a thankful  Mack up with him.

Paul’s account of events:  Got the call this week for a JR job.
A fella named Mack lost his wedding band digging a compost heap and called JR to help find it.
Over the phone Mack told me that the compost was full of tacks and nails.  He wasn’t joking, the threshold on the e-trac completely nulled out from all the iron so I switched over to two tone ferrous mode. The e-trac’s recovery speed is pretty fast in TTF and the ring was quickly found in between some ferrous signals close to the garage wall.

Mack had a huge smile and eagerly shook my hand thanking me. Gotta love that feeling  and the $ came in handy to purchase a new headlamp (H14 lenser) for some night time detecting.
Thanks Tony for setting everything up, had a great time finding and returning the ring.

Michel from Altona Region, Melbourne Victoria saw our last story of us rescuing a fine gold bracelet  for a lady given to her by her mother.  As it turns out Michel’s Mother had passed away and the keepsake gold ring her mother gave her was dropped while digging in her back yard.  The  area was not  huge 8 x 8 meters approximately but definitely lost in there  somewhere.  Michel contacted me at Jewellery Rescue  about 12.30 pm so I told her I would call a couple of  our closest Jewellery Rescue members to her location and find out their availability to try and meet  with  her that evening.   Most of the best  skilled detectorists also have full time jobs and can only search out of business hours.   Seabrook is SW of Melbourne’s CBD   where a new  Jewellery Rescue metal detectorist called Aaron; who has never done a job for us (but came highly recommended).  Aaron  made an appointment with Michel for 7.00 am and  kept his appointment – which is a good start.

 It was about 7.15am 15 minutes later I received the text that Michels Mothers ring was found and safely back with the person it belonged to - Michel.  Aaron was handsomely rewarded for his first job with us  by Michel. I thanked Aaron and contacted  Michel by phone.  She was very happy with Aaron’s respectful, polite manner and was  also very happy with  the  outcome of  having  her mother’s  keepsake found by  skilled detectorist - especially as her mother’s funeral was later that  very same day….  Michel  our deepest condolences, it also means  a lot to us to be able return such  an irreplacable precious item and memory especially at such a vunerable time ..  I look forward to referring Aaron to future jobs in Melbourne’s SW region and beyond as he is also prepared to  travel to country Victoria.  How far?  Call us and see with your lost items.

Dear Tony,

Firstly, I just want to say Thank you!

When I called you this morning from Melbourne you imediately said that you will try to help me find my mothers heirloom and that you have people all over Australia with professional equipment.  I instantly though that this gentleman, is experienced and understanding of the fact that my bracelet had a sentermental value to me as it was given to me from my mother that had passed away when I was young.

“No job is too small or too big for Jewellery Rescue”  It is just a bracelet!

You were so forthcoming in getting one of your people from Melbourne to call me. We then made arrangements to meet Ben, in a Park in Melbourne’s East at 7:00pm.  He had the relevant equipment to help me find the bracelet.

The outcome was that I found my mothers heirloom, the bracelet she gave me that reminded me of my mother!Again, Thank you Tony for all your help and Thank you to Ben for finding the bracelet and I can only recommend   you to anyone that needs to find Jewellery or there like to give you a call. You and your team are the Best!!

Ben and family team, highly skilled Jewellery Rescue Metal detectorist Account of events..

It all started when i got a call from JR ( Jewellery rescue ) saying he had a job for me for $100 this afternoon, a woman had lost a 22k gold ankle chain ( a gift from her mother that had past away ) while playing cricket in a park about 20min from my place, JR  gave me her pH number & after a bit of phone tag arranging a time & place to meet it was all teed up, so i packed my weapon of choice for the hunt – the two ACE250s fit the bill as it can pick up very small targets & can separate items very well in high trash. so off me, my wife & the kids went with the thrill of the hunt in our veins  , we met up at the arranged place & after i gained a description of the lost item we were off,
now i had a very low expectations of finding the chain as it was very small & we had a large area to detect but ya cant keep a good man down or good wife   so we went at it like a bull at a gate  .
we hunted for about 30min & the tally was 2x $1 & a bit of foil then just as i was about to do a turn in my grid pattern i spotted something out of the corner of my eye so i stepped into undetected territory & spotted on the gold colored grass a very small chain so i waved the coil over it & sure enough it was metal i picked it up & said the grand finallie of words in a hunt like this ” I FOUND IT ” the husband who was on the grass crawling around & the woman who was following my wife around very intently both came running & with much hart felt gratitude & teary eyes   the lost item was returned to the owner   .
then came the surprise a very large hug from the hubby   not what i expected  .
so a very happy ending to a very sad start  , i got $80 in the hand the customer had the chain returned & JR got $20 for organising the job, thank you very much JR for letting me be a part of the Jewellery rescue team.
